Thorough evaluations and working with professionals who specialize with attachment and trauma issues may be available in your area.  However, professionals being close by, available, or experienced with school consultation issues is highly variable.  This is part of what prompted Dr. Ottavi to write Why Is Johnny So Detached?  for school professionals.

 ATTACh is a national association brining trainings and information about attachment and trauma issues for parents and professionals at their website and yearly conference.
