Parent Support
Parents and caregivers of detached kids, whether biological, adoptive, foster parents or other caregivers, play a very vital role in the child's progress. Due to the challenging and often intense nature of these children's behaviors, support and knowledge are essential to prevent hopelessness, burnout and frustration. While schools are required by law to provide parents with a Parents Rights informational packet regarding special education programming, below are additional resources for caregivers and parents of detached kids.
